everytime max gives new childhood lore my hatred for jos verstappen knows no bounds 😭😭 max saying in that new de telegraaf interview that it would be difficult to leave when lily gets older and that jos used to sneak out the back because max would just be crying and he would find it very annoying of course… like max what do you mean of course??? and him following up with saying how he thinks it’s important to be kind to your family 🥺🥺 it kills me that you just know baby max adored his father despite how that man treated him yet you just get this feeling that jos only cared when he was winning and otherwise he was just an inconvenience… i’m glad he has the family he’s always wanted and you can just see how determined he is to break the cycle ❤️🩹
Every baby picture I've seen of Max had Max looking at his dad like he hung the moon. He's always loved his dad so so much which just makes everything else we know so much more heartbreaking.
But yeah he's so determined to be a good dad to Lily and to be there for her no matter what. I'm so proud of him, that's not something easy to do.
