100% swim!captain TK was mostly born out of whatever movie Ronen was in that I didn't watch bc I don't do scary movies (for I am a punk) but supported him via reblogging gifs people made where he was coming out of the pool and my goblin brain said, wouldn't it be nice to do an AU where TK is like this big man on campus that everyone swears will be the next Michael Phelps?... but he's failing his English course and at risk of losing his spot on the team and has to get tutored. And then wouldn't it be so great that Carlos literally does not know anything about how big of a deal TK is on campus and TK is intrigued by this and makes it his mission to break Carlos out of his shell in exchange for his help

Trainer!Carlos is my take on what if the spin instructor (or for this sake, personal trainer) Alex skips out on TK with is Carlos? But in this verse things do not go beyond one date when Carlos realizes Alex is actually in a relationship and he tells TK what's happening. At first TK is in denial hard, but the truth of it comes to light pretty quickly. Carlos becomes a good friend to him and ~*~feelings~*~ come about but their very strange origins make them both hesitant to push for more.

Omg I LOVE this artist/frat boy AU. It features a very awkward first meeting. TK inadvertently offends Carlos' piece in the student art show which is the LAST way he ever pictured himself meeting Carlos for the first time officially. He has had a crush on him for the past year. He works overtime to get into Carlos' good graces and make amends. Carlos is skeptical and has his doubts, but TK is able to disarm him in a way he both loves and is terrified of.
