ICYMI: The Great Divide (part 2/?)
Seeing as it’s officially Friday where I am, just thought I would share again that I’ve got a new fic out there, with the first two bits up.
I’m really excited about this one...I have such great plans in mind! It’s gonna be a little more plotty and less schmoopy than I usually am.
High school Max-centric AU. I sort of think of it as my Sliding Doors fic. It’s an alternative timeline where Ann and Dave (🤮) walked into the group home just a few moments earlier and saw Max instead of Michel having the freak out. Michael and Isobel go home with them, and eventually, the Valentis adopt Max.
So my starting point is this: how would things be different if Max grew up with a parent who knows the truth about him AND has alien resources through Project Shepherd? How does it change his relationship with the pod squad to have Max growing up with cops as parents? How does Max and Kyle being brothers change things with Liz? And of course, what does all of this do to the events at the end of high school?
I hope you will consider giving it a shot. ☺️
