The reason why I ship a crack-pairing from Beyblade
Actually when I came to the beyblade fandom, I introduced a crack-ship: Tala X Queen. Some of them might wonder why did I ever ship them, so today I will tell you all. I wasn’t that surprised when I didn’t see anybody shipping them together because they are a crack-ship, which means they had zero interaction. Also, there are a lot of fans who don’t care for Queen except a few. Infact, I never expected to be shipping them because they came to me out of no where. However, I will explain why and how I ship/started shipping them.
First thing was, they both were influenced by villains: Tala by Boris and Queen by Dr. K. The only difference is that Dr. K is more lowkey than Boris is. So they share that similarity. Secondly, they both are strong and powerful beybladers. They can make a powerful couple. If they both met each other, there are possibilities for them to become a couple.
Now I will tell how this couple slipped out. When I started shipping beyblade couples, I was a tad confused with whom I can pair a certain person with. I found Hilary could be a good choice for both Tyson and Kai. I too even shipped Max with Mariam and Ray with Salima. But, as I watched the series I found there are a lot of hot guys who all I didn’t notice immediately, say like Ozuma, Kane and Miguel. I realized that they too need girls. The only females they interact the most or only interact is with their teammates so I pair them with them. I came across Julia and saw that some people in social media were actually shipping her with Kai. Like Tala and Queen, they both will make a power couple. So now Hilary slipped out for Tyson. Since I ship Mariam with Ozuma, I paired up Max with Emily. Ray and Mariah are married, so no cap that I won’t ship them. When I ship, I ensure that the team captains or some of the major guys have a girl. The bladebreakers have interacted with more than a girl, but that’s not the case for the others. I will have to ship them with whoever they have been with the most. So for the bladebreakers, I chose the others.
After shipping some couples, I just figured out that Tala had no girl left, say maybe canon wise. But, I remembered that Queen was out, so why not ship her with him? The initiative to ship them is because of the reason which I explained in the third paragraph and also here. However, they started as a crack-pairing but now I think that they both are really compatible. Tala might like bruh-girls like Queen, who is independent, head straight and strong. Tala is less likely to not like lovesick ones, taking his personality under consideration.
Also, I see Tala and Kai as a duo. I see Tala as an older counterpart of Kai. Same with Queen, I see her as an older counterpart or the villain version of Julia. So, why not ship Kai and Tala with twin-sisters who are twins for their own brothers? That will be a goddamn good pattern and makes sense. Also, Queen and Julia have battled once. I can’t ship Kai and Queen (obviously I can’t lol) so I thought Tala would be the best match for her. I could ship her with Hiro, Spencer, or maybe with Kane too (sometimes age gaps don’t matter because I know a Naruto couple where the boy is three years older to the girl and Kane and Queen largely resemble them) but still, they won’t be the best matches for her. Hiro would do good with a random girl, same with Spencer and Bryan. Kane, ofc I ship him with Salima. So, Queen, apart from being the only choice left, I found that the ship could work if they interacted. However, I slightly ship TalaJul too, but TalaQueen is my first priority.
