and the long answer involves a table cloth that was sticking out giving me the illusion that the table was closer than it was, and me putting the plate half on the table and half on nothing, resulting in my lap being covered in food

i saw @uchiprincess answer this earlier here, and i think it sums up the good and bad points a lot better than i could! i definitely recommend reading that, also maybe watching a few videos on youtube? that normally helps me decide whether or not i want to buy a game if i’m unsure
