Warby Parker Sunwear
Between their 1-to-1 business model, their incredibly reasonable prices, and their stylish designs, Warby Parker’s been one of those companies I’ve been dying to support for a long time. Unlike my genetically inferior hard-of-sight colleagues here at Mosaic however, I must have eaten too many carrots as a child. As a result, I’ve been left out of this eye-wear-as-a-fashion-statement bandwagon for years.
Lucky me, the times they are a changin'. A couple months ago, we showcased Warby Parker’s first venture into sunwear via an incredibly noble co-branding effort with Invisible Children. This month, they round out that line with a completely polarized line of sunglasses. What’s more, come August these guys will come with an RX option as well.
While I may not be half-blind, my penchant for wakeboarding, working from a patio-desk, and backpacking around the southern hemisphere fits this product description perfectly. WP, you can expect a large chunk of my next paycheck immediately.
Oh wait, I don’t get paid to do this? God bless you Visa. Some of my favorite styles to the right, all for 95 bucks a pop. Preorder now, to assure you'll be looking fly by mid-July.
