Jimmy let out an exasperated sigh. “Look, Liv. I know you want to help, but Byers, Frohike and Langley..they’re gone…” He held his face in his hands and sighed. He hated this feeling, it was like the whole world was against him. “I appreciate the help, I mean at least you’re trying to look on the bright side of things.”

“I’m not sure I’d call it looking on the bright side so much as not looking on the, ah -- dark side. But alright ...” Trailing off, her nose wrinkled as she watched him, rough sigh exiting her chest as she settled. “I just -- I don’t think they’d want you to be so -- ...” She paused, gesturing at him with a frown. “Well. This.”

Well, well… He hadn’t been expecting dinner for two. Rifling through his steak fries, Mulder looked up to regard his guest with an air of curiosity. The guy hadn’t much choice, however; with a cursory look, Mulder knew every other table was filled. “Sure you don’t want to move?” Mulder asked regardless with a touch of humor. “Might spoil your meal.”
