Golden City Hive Basketball Practice — Final Drill
🏀 GOLDEN CITY HIVE — FINAL PRACTICE PROTOCOL
Recreation Deck 7 — Indoor Arena
The golden court gleamed under the harsh Hive lights — polished wood, painted lines so sharp they almost cut the eye. Every movement echoed like a command, sneakers squeaking in perfect rhythm with the pounding of the ball.
PDU-096 stood at the three-point line, masked, uniform black and gold glistening under the heat. Breath slow. Pulse steady. The Handler’s voice crackled over comms:
“Precision over power, drone. Execute.”
096’s shot was flawless — arc measured to the millimeter, landing clean in the net with the softest swish. The team tightened formation, moving like a single organism. Passing drills. Defensive locks. Break plays executed with surgical efficiency.
But discipline wasn’t just for show. Rumors had spread — the Cyan Drones had been spotted nearby, shadowing practice sessions, looking for weaknesses. The Hive could not afford them an inch.
Every eye in the mask’s black visor scanned for infiltration signs. The game tomorrow wasn’t just sport — it was control, territory, dominance.
096 took point guard position, driving the ball past two defenders with impossible speed. A fake pass, a pivot, another shot — net again. Teammates fell into his rhythm, feeding off the precision like a signal. The court began to hum with that unmistakable Hive frequency — discipline turned into performance.
In the upper balcony, the Handler watched without moving. No applause. No praise. Just a single, sharp nod.
Tomorrow, the Cyan Drones would find no gaps, no mercy. Only Hive victory.
