We are honoured to work with you. “A delegation from Global Food Banking Network USA made up of Mr. Christopher Rebstock, Director of Field Services and Mrs Gabriela Reno, Field Services Officer, Middle East & Africa were in Ghana for a 2 days working visit, to access the work at Food for All Africa and also interact with stakeholders within Ghana's food supply. They had the opportunity to have a first hand experience on our day to day operations at Food for All Africa. They also visited and interacted with some of our beneficiary organizations. We also met key stakeholders within Ghana's food supply chain including Dr.Kwame Amoako Tuffour, Senior Advisor to the President and Mrs.Isabel Agra, FDA. We made time to interact with the media on the importance of Food Banking in Ghana. Thanks to Uniq 95.7 FM and Joy Business News. We also had a networking soirée organized in honour of our guest at Zest restaurant, MaxMart. The past week has been amazing and impactful. Thanks to our beneficiaries and partners, we were able to share with the delegation our work in Ghana. La vie est assez chère ici notamment dans les supermarchés où les 3/4 des produits sont importés. Voici ce qu'on peut acheter avec 20 GHC soit 8€ environ: de la vache qui rit, de la confiture, de la vinaigrette, du poivre, du chou (je croyais que c'était une salade iceberg :( ) , du film étirable et 225g de poulet...

Life is quite expensive here espacially when you go to the supermarket because 75% of the items are imported. Here is what I got for 20 GHC, approximately 8€/10$ : cheese, jam, dressing, black pepper, cabbage (thought it was salad :( ) , 225g of chicken en plastic wrap (I don't know how to call it in English) ...
