Max Milner - Natural Wonder

I first met Max back in November when he came down to view the studio for a potential recording+filming session. He wanted to record 4 tracks live, with a full band, and film the whole process. 

We booked the dates for December and when the time finally rolled around it was one of the most fun sessions I’ve had in a long time. 

Across the two days the band were incredible, never dropping a beat, always positive and working well together to make sure the tracks were the best they could be.  They were a real pleasure to work with.

After the excitement of the tracking session, the hard work for me started in the new year, mixing these 4 tracks. 

I opted to mix them without any visuals whatsoever as both Max and I wanted the audio to be able to stand alone as a commercially releasable EP, as well as with the video accompaniment.

This is “Natural Wonder” the first instalment of the 4 part release, and touches on elements of Max’s apparent drift out of the public eye after his initial success.
