It wasn’t uncommon for strangers to approach it, but even Seris was cautious. So when one approached it with such speed, it became far more hesitant. Defensive even. This one had been eyeing it, more so than the others among the crowd. Whether it was out of curiosity or malice it knew not, but it supposed it would find out soon enough. Its brows furrowed as the strange figure caught up to it, and it turned to face them, peering at them quizzically and guardedly.

“Didn’t say it’d take all bloody afternoon.” He took the sticky thing, a brow raising in the scientist’s direction. He tried to move the thing to his fingertips to keep his palm from sticking to it, his other hand free and shoved in his jacket pocket. In all honesty, he didn’t mind helping Newt out, if it helped keep him alive.
