Its beauty making everything glistening wet

Sparkles dance; a thousand rainbows in the air

The grass and trees drink everything in as they sway in the wind

A rainforest love we may not comprehend

Though its beauty is impossible not to appreciate.

Again I find my knees scraped and Last night’s dried blood painted on my legs. I forget, I forget what happened. I forget the way you used me, The way you fluffed me up to tear me down. You gave me drink after drink And told me I was the prettiest thing You’d ever seen. Until you pushed me. Until I fell onto my knees and Opened my mouth for you. Until I became the monument to failure Pulled up and refurbished again and again Until I was something no one could recognize.

On the verge of exhaustion

I am tired cause I can´t sleep

I toil hard everyday but at night I can’t breathe

You are missing and I can´t sleep

Apparently you don’t care about my suffering or despair

I am on the verge of exhaustion and quite frankly I don´t care

I just want peace and quiet

Nothing else will do

Too bad my heart doesn’t think the same

Wish I could tear it out of my chest

Maybe then I’d get some rest!

Alone when it is born high in the clouds

Lonely as it drops

Lonely as it flies through the sky 

Lonely as it shatters on the ground

It pools and forms rivulets, ponds, rivers and lakes 

Then the rain is lonely no more
