Max,

While you share some of the physical traits that I most admire, especially those that look like me, I find your lack of animal instinct undesirable. As you have nothing beneficial to offer in return, you won't be receiving any aid from me. I still have hope that you can change, and be the beast I know you can be. But you'll have to learn that on your own.

Waverly was always lost when she was alone. The others had a good sense of direction, she did not. Of all people to be left on her own...

She had no gun, but held a hammer at her side, ready to fling it if anything attacked. She was standing in the forest now, having completely lost her way back to her group--maybe if they started yelling for her, she could find them. But as it were, it was silent and dark in the woods, only the quiet sound of animals and birds shuffling around in the trees.

And then there was that movement in the bushes.

"C-come out of there!" Waverly held up her hammer, ready to start bludgeoning. "G-get out right now or I'll start swining!"

Waverly was standing outside, just staring into the foggy woods that seemed to stretch for hundreds of miles. With her hands clasped behind her back and her expression unfeeling at best, it seemed like nothing much could distract her.

That is, until she heard the footsteps of a stranger. She turned, a little startled--this being had a young face, yet it was even taller than her. Had she shrunk, perhaps?

"Um...good evening. A-are you lost?" she asked, noticing that he didn't seem hostile, just perhaps a little confused.
