New Delhi, India, January 28, 2014: Maxx Mobile, India’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones and accessories has launched twenty-six new handsets on the occasion of India’s 64th Republic Day. The newly launched handsets include nineteen feature phones and seven android phones. Maxx has made this move in order to maintain its focus on delivering maximum variety of high quality phones at very affordable prices. The phones are priced between Rs. 1100 and Rs. 5000. Continuing its ‘value for money’ approach, Maxx has launched phones with features that suit every individual’s requirement and at price points that fit every pocket.

CMD & Founder of Maxx Mobile Ajjay Agarwal said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of 26 models on this occasion of great national importance. We had launched 15 models on 15 Aug 2013 and now are launching 26 models on 26 Jan offering the consumer freedom to choose his handset. Maxx Mobile to launch 500 models of phone,smartphone and Tablet PC in this Year

Indian Mobile Maker Company,Maxx Mobile is aiming to share more than 3% in smartphone market accross India.Nine Year Old company’s current market share is less than one percent.They are try to grow its revenues to Rs. 650 crore this fiscal from Rs. 434 crore in FY13.

Acctually Maxx Mobile panning to launch about 500 models of feature phone,smartphone,and tablet PC in Indian market in this year.Among this 500 models,feature phones has 250 models, Android operating system-powered smartphones has 200 models and tablet PCs has 50 variants.

“We have been witnessing strong growth of 25 per cent in sales for fer month. Maxx recently changed its strategy and we are looking at launching close to 500 models of smartphones, feature phones and tablet PCs across various price points in the Indian market,” Maxx Mobile Chairman and Managing Director Ajjay Agarwal told PTI.

He aslo told that “We will have 75-85 models in Indian market and the portfolio will be change regular basis to offer customers choice at affordable price points.Our mobile phone price range between Rs.900-16,000.First 3 month of this fiscal we already launched 40 models and will launch same number of device in next 60 days”

“We will launch a new Tablet PC at Rs.5000 in next week and while another powerful device priced at about Rs.8,000 will be introduced by the end of the month.We want to offer best device to the customer at the most affordable price points” He added.

Company already sell 35 smartphone at ‘RACE’ brand name in Indian market and is looking to increase 60 by next month.Maxx plan to invest Rs.300 crore to start production of handset in Haridwar later this month.

“We will manufacture smartphones and tablet PCs at the facility and will continue to import feature phones. In the next six months, the plant will start manufacturing 10,000 units a month, which will be later ramped up to 500,000 by April 2014. This will require an additional capex of Rs.100 crore,” he said.

The company had also extended its contract with Captain of Indian Cricket, M S Dhoni to be Maxx’s brand ambassador in December 2010.He had signed a Rs.29-crore endorsement deal with Maxx Mobile for a period of seven years in December 2010.”We continue to work with him.
