I just discovered his May 1988 Patlar in my 5/19-6/19/1988 journal. Patlar was a monthly gay magazine in Sacramento. It included gay related news, events and personal ads. I like fact that this Patlar promotes the May 7th Gay March on the state capitol. In May 1988, AIDS was raging, there was no cure. It was long before gay marriage was approved. There was no internet. The Patlar was kind of our paper version of an internet. If you would like to see more of what was in the 1988 Patlar let me know and I will continue the post.
