happy birthday to all of us.

im working on mia for the first time in five weeks and i am having to tear myself away to go make dinner. 

may/june is officially in progress.

Awsten interacting with kids is so heartwarming because I just think about how he treats the kids like they actually matter and listens to them. If Otto ever decided to have kids Awsten would be the coolest uncle ever.

Okay for science reasons™️ what shade of pink is a & t's hair 👀

travis’ is a little brighter than awsten’s because he put the dye thicker on travis than on himself. t’s is sort of bubblegum pink, and awsten’s is just a little more intense than when he had pink hair for real.

hi aly i saw that you were sad last night and i just wanted to say that i’m sorry and i hope that you’re feeling a little better. i also had a question about travis dyeing his hair pink. Did he have to bleach his hair before dyeing it? because when i bleach my hair it burns and i hate it and i feel like he would really dislike that a lot as well. maybe he didn’t have a reaction to it or the outcome of having pink hair was more important to him than being uncomfortable?

they did bleach their hair, yes. awsten and leslie both talked to travis about it beforehand and told him that if he didn’t like it, they could pull the plug immediately. 

awsten kept him as distracted as he could while it was happening and watched to make sure that it wasn’t bothering him too much, but yes, you’re right - travis wanted the pink hair SO BAD and he knew that if he stopped that he wouldn’t get the outcome he was hoping for. 

but because of his background, travis is familiar with discomfort and has some experience with prolonged pain, so he was more equipped to handle it than anyone was expecting, especially with awsten’s help. (and tuna’s.)

okay so after some thought, i will be posting may and june separately

may will go up today. june won’t be long. it’s very short haha and it’s already done.

just have to write the last piece (the epilogue), and then we’re done with rising tide!

i’d do may and june as one chapter based on length, but i don’t want rt to be 19 chapters! haha. i’d rather have an even 20. and the months so far have all been separate, so. 

okay. yeah.
