Introduction my ocs that are fanmade parents of my favourite dcmk characters.
Again I have a headcanon where Takagi, Curacao and Gin are siblings from this post.
Official designs, well officiall past design (34 years ago) of my parent ocs from this post and a bit of their backstory.
As for their colored appearances, Shiro has the same silver hair and skin tone as Gin but he has heterochromia like Curacao, same eye colours as well.
Naomi's appearance would be the same as Wataru but their skin tone (or at least the one I use) is the same tan from the movies (movie 11 for example), her eyes however are the same shade of green Gin has.
The two were completely polar opposites, with Shiro being outgoing and caring while Naomi was apathetic and introverted. Not to mention the two worked in different fields with Shiro being a floral designer while Naomi was a rookie officer at the time they met.
Around the time before they start dating, Shiro after meeting and befriending Naomi from the case that brought the two together.
He would often help the woman with babysitting her daughter, Keiko who was 2 years old. Since Naomi's mother was recently hospitalised and her father couldn't take care both his wife and grandchild at the same time.
This unfortunately led to the toddler misunderstanding that Shiro was her father as he often visits and takes care of her.
Plus he makes her mom smile which earns her approval.
When Naomi and Shiro explain that he wasn't her father since they weren't married, Naomi didn't want to tell her that her biological father abandoned them, that Shiro was just a friend.
Which only led to her asking why don't they just get married and so on.
This ironically was what got them to start dating each other.
They weren't very well 'physically' romantic with each other due to how demanding their work was, however they often talk to each other about their day or work.
Shiro is the more romantic of the two often showering Naomi in any kind of affection he could, but it's mostly just hugs, some flirting that she never catches on and kisses, usually on the cheek or forehead.
Naomi due to her not knowing how to express herself properly tends to just look confused and blushes at the act of affection, she doesn't say much but the way her cheeks turn a shade a pink and her holding the area of where her lover kissed was enough for Shiro.
If they were lucky and were free on the same day, they would go one dates usually just at a cafe or restaurant one of them know. But most of the time it's just going over to one of their places have dinner, talk and watch a movie together.
About two years into their relationship, Naomi found out that she was pregnant with Shirogane (Gin) and was completely at a lost and in fear. As the last time she got pregnant in a relationship...it ended with her raising her daughter on her own...
She didn't tell Shiro because how can she? She didn't knew if he wanted had a baby with her, sure he loved Keiko but...
Keiko wasn't broken like her.
Naomi has told Shiro about her medical condition, CIP (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain) and sure he was accepting about it.
But what if they weren't so lucky and this child inherited that condition.
Would he leave her?
She kept it a secret for months and started to avoid Shiro who was worried about her.
So one night he asked her to dinner at a fancy restaurant, as he wanted to tell her something, however as they talked Naomi ended up telling him about the pregnancy before Shiro could say anything, she left out of fear of the outcome.
Shiro managed to stop her at the entrance and reassure her that he would love her no matter what happens.
To prove his love to her he proposed to her on the spot.
It's been 14 weeks since Folklore and she wrote the 1/Hoax the week before; so that would've been ~15 weeks ago.
People usually wait for the second trimester (12+ weeks) to announce pregnancies. I'm not saying Taylor knew, but it's possible she knew when she wrote Hoax/the 1.
Also, Peace from Karlie's POV (as response to the archer: I could stay but I could never give you peace/I'd give you a child) makes so much sense now to me. Always thought it was a reply to the archer, and always found the music haunting/sad.
So anyway, I'm on twitter most these days and after folklore I excepted the end of Kaylor but some people are still surprised so, it's okay to be sad and to go through it now.
