the thing about adela
so ace's girlfriend is going to be one of the d.a girls but not adela. HEAR ME OUT FOR ONE SECOND. i LOVE adela, genuinely. i have a lot of thoughts about her.
i was talking to one of my friends (@x-endureandsurvive-x, who if you don't know them and you're 18+ go check out their stuff its so good) about this and i feel like she would stress ace out if they were together romantically. she's very provocative, very out there (which, so is KATSEYE, i'm aware) and i think her and ace would be really great friends, but i think she's a bit intense for our cinnamon roll of a human being. like i see adela, meg, lara, and ace being really close (or, like, as close as ace would let them get) during dream, but ace was still pretty quiet. she was sunny and giggly like meg, but i think adela especially could tell there was something under all of it. i also think adela pushes ace to talk about her parents and ace kinda yells at her during dream, so she backs off.
ace changes a lot after the truth comes out but its so gradual that none of the kats really notice how dramatic the change is.
UNTIL they see adela again and ace is a completely different person and adela pulls lara and meg aside to ask whats up, but they're like 'thats just ace???' and she's like 'no no no, thats not the girl i knew. did you hit her with a confidence bomb?' and lara and megan get to realise just how much she's changed and feel all proud of their baby (and themselves ngl)
i also think adela would catch on to the whole protective vibe lara and megan now have and take it on too. like that's the kats' baby? no, thats their baby and no one messes with her. i feel like she would take on a less intense older sister vibe.
i also think adela would be a great opportunity for ace getting to tell someone about her anxiety instead of them witnessing it, like the kats.
would be very very willing to do reqs/write full fics/ hcs for ace and adela's relationship *platonically* if people are interested.
