@maya-hadler
Dinner was over and they had all had some dessert already. Twice. Some had played drinking games, others had danced, and in general the older members of the group got better acquainted with the newer ones and they all had caught up with those that hadn’t been around in the last months. All in all, Jonas would say it had been a successful gathering for him, meeting these people better off The Grid. But just because he was content with the idea of spending time with the other members of the group and know them better didn’t mean he didn’t want to be with the one person he was closest with. It was easy for him to notice when Maya went to the kitchen for some punch and didn’t come back after a while. He went in to just to check on her and found her sitting alone, away from the rest. “Hey. Is everything okay?” Jonas asked as he sat down by her side. “Do you want to leave?” he asked, since he’d been her ride here.
