G, M, and N for the fanfic asks!
G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
Depends on what’s working then. My strategy is always to make a word count when I’m in that mode. With “Awakened Nightmares” it was written out of order and mostly backwards by virtue of the initial concept. “River of the Dead” was written almost entirely in order.
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
1. Claymore: Miata remembers, thus Miria takes her to the one person she thinks can help her... Clare.
2. Claymore: Years after the last battle, Clare sits in the rain regularly. Raki tries to figure out why.
3. Fullmetal Alchemist: Ed visits Mustang to turn in his watch. Roy has other ideas.
4. Attack on Titan: So back before the story became what it became (think around chapter 70), I had this idea where Armin would be the only survivor of the trio, lived at a settlement near the ocean and hadn’t been back to the walls since the destruction of the Titans. He finally goes back after getting a letter from Hange and upon the encouragement of Jean and Sasha (pretty much the entire 104th is reduced to this and the three of them left after humanity was freed). I had this weird thing where Jean was overly protective of Armin while also sarcastically referring to Eren and them both missing Mikasa.
I have two more long Claymore ones and that’s all I’ll say on those.
N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?
