I don’t really pay much attention to Ace Attorney shipping discourse these days for a variety of reasons, but of all the things I’ve heard about different ships over the years, nothing has quite mystified me more than someone insinuating that Mayapollo was problematic.

For context, a few years ago, there was a Maya Fey week. This particular statement was part of an ask that was sent to the blog about policing ships that were written in any of the submissions because otherwise “people might think ships like Mayapollo are okay.”

I don’t even ship Mayapollo, and that left me baffled.

For technicality, people who ship Apollo with Phoenix, Nahyuta or Dhurke would go in the proship section.
