The bisexual realisations definitely hit Steve like a ton of bricks sometime from 1984/85 and the moment he sees Billy, bloodied, sexy and very alive in the upside down, he immediately asks what he’s looking for in a partner.

Billy, who isn’t quite human anymore but is still 100% Billy, is more than happy to engage this man, who he only half remembers, in conversation.

They barrel their way into being a couple but come across one slight issue in *Steve’s* vision of domestic bliss.
