Reflections on my blog title...

So it seems the aphasia has almost set in. I was reviewing some of the history of this blog, and it has almost completely moved away from any sort of original writing. I think the last original piece I posted was Writs, which was really an esoteric ramble produced on a weird night (it really was weird; it was especially foggy where I live, while other parts of the city yielded a view of a massive moon; I remember going out for drinks and being a bit overwhelmed). 

I also think I'm losing my ability to critically articulate my thoughts. I found myself attempting a response to Paula Braconnot's work, and upon reviewing my writing, realized I'd said something that sounded inane/borderline pretentious and quickly erased my comments. All I really wanted was to express my appreciation for the myriad sources she references in her work, both classical and contemporary. Why was that so difficult?
