(I've added the questions themselves for anyone who doesn't want to bother scrolling down to find that post, regardless here's a link to it)
6. What's your hair routine like? Anything special?
I often like to run my fingers through my hair throughout the day to untangle any knots, usually while I'm doing whatever. While showering I massage shampoo into my scalp and try to untangle as many knots as I can, I also have conditioner that I never remember to use. I shower in the evening, so in the few hours leading up to bed, I try not to lean my head against anything, as not to mess my hair whilst it's still wet. If I ever want my hair to look extra good the next day for whatever reason, I'll bust out my comb. Whenever I comb I start at the ends, fix the knots there, and then slowly make my way up towards my scalp, that way I can deal with the knots one by one, instead of hitting all of them in one swipe of the comb. My mom taught me to do this, and she swears it makes your hair look better, so I've done it this way ever since.
20. what do you wish someone would ask you?
I deliberated on this one for a good bit, asking myself: What DO i wish someone would ask me??
So!! I've just decided to use this as an opportunity to yap on some worldbuilding of mine that I particularly like (¬ᴗ¬)
So the question is
What are some pieces of worldbuilding you'd like to share?
Which I will be answering under the cut:
First off, the way that godhood works, I've always thought that the gender distinction between the words "God" and "Goddess" is kinda useless, so I decided to do something entirely different, with it not linked to gender.
A god is a being who was born/created into godhood, they've always been a god since the beginning of time.
A goddess is a mortal who has ascended to godhood through specific means.
The same applies to demigods, demigods are half-mortal-half-god born/created by either a god or goddess, while demigoddess are mortals who've only had parts of them ascend to godhood, but not the whole (Don't ask me how that works) (or do (>ᴗ•))
Anyway, the gods (when I say gods, I'm also refering to the goddesses) each embody a thing or concept, but these are not strictly tied to the gods, for example there's a Goddess of Gravity, but gravity still existed before he ascended. The gods are all immortal (except for one lol), and the only way to even slightly kill them is to kill their mortal forms, but that just reverts them to their god forms, although this does permanently get rid off their mortal forms. Their mortal forms don't strictly have to be human, for example the Goddess of Life used to be a single-cell organism, so that's also their mortal form.
Demigods don't really have a mortal form since they're already half mortal, the best they can do is disguise themselves to look more like an ordinary human, since they normally look atleast a little bit unhuman. They're also not immortal, they have megaannums long lifespans, but they can be killed, just not with any mortal weapons.
Next!! Mages!!!!
In my world everyone has atleast a little bit of magic in them, so anyone can do it, but mages are the people that specialize in it. The longer you practice, the more magic you build up, which is stored in your body to draw from for when you use magic, the magic isn't used up when you use it, which is why you can get more and more within you, without having to ration it. If you have more magic built up, you can perform better and stronger magic. The best of mages, who've had a very, very long time to build up, are absolutely brimming with magic. An experienced mage can be recognized by rainbow veins running all along their body, a sign of the intense amounts of magic stored beneath their skin. Ofcourse with more magic stored within you, there's also a larger risk that it can leak out. Powerful mages will probably be good at containing it, but there's a possibility it leaks when they experience stress/surprise/panic or some other extremely strong emotions. How magic manifests when it breaks free from the body usually depends on the type of magic the mage specializes in. If you were a fire specialists, you'd probably raise the temperature around you to the point where it would make water boil, although you'd also have fire resistance at that point so you wouldn't burn yourself. Although one universal manifestation of leaked magic is those emotion symbols, like these ones
These aren't like tangible things or something, but they can be seen by others, they're light I'd say. This is solely because I thought it was a funny way to realistically add cartoon logic :P
Across my funny little multiverse there's actually an uneven awareness of magic, while it is present in every living being, there's many worlds out there who simply haven't discovered it, and the worlds that have discovered magic, mostly stumbled across it by happenstance.
Anyway, that's some of my worldbuilding ramblings, it was really fun to share ദ്ദി˶>𖥦<)✧
