I'm pretty sure that both Sherlock and Mycroft are supposed to be multilingual. I'm also pretty sure that every person who speaks more than one language find themselfves using the most efficient way to convey their meaning and abandoning their language consistency at some point in their lives.
The other thing I'm pretty sure of is that when two people speak an overlapping set of different languages their conversation just become a mixture of everything they both speak. With alternating sentence structures and words with a different alphabet just... coming in.
