Although she sometimes misses having a ghoul around, and having that connection to another being, Ahnaki is straight up terrified by the thought of making another one and losing them. The reality that is an eternity full of loss has not fully sunk in yet.

The clan traits that pass down to ghouls through blood is another reason for her... wariness. She’d never consider actually embracing someone unless it were a mercy. And even then, she knows that it’d hardly be a mercy at all.

she made her excuses but honestly I’m just glad she acknowledged what she did

idk if I should forgive her? Idk either way we’ve moved on

Ramblings:

1 night when we were all drinking, my dad was telling me how he was talking to his sister and he was telling her that I get reallly hurt by things, by words & that when I get hurt I get UPSET.. she told him, "well don't tell her things then" (like bad stuff at me)

My lil sis told me something & I jokingly replied "I'll kick your ass" & right away my dad was like, "She WILL. She's one of the people who leasst take people's shit."

My mom the other day was saying how her mom is too sensitive, so I told my mom she better not be too sensitive when she's older either. She was like, "I already am." I asked how and she said she felt bad I didn't reply "I love you" to all her messages while I was out at a concert & that I don't go and greet her in her room when I get home anymore

Surprised me, but I think they're finally kindaa starting to understand what happens when I'm upset & that they shouldn't upset/fuck with me. & my mom is like, missing my affection.

Well if they want me in their life, same as if anyone else wants me in their life, you gotta treat me right & cherish me when you have me.
