Sirius Black was the dream prince; from the Noble house of Black, it was no surprise he was sorted into Slytherin with the rest of his cousins. In just the first couple of months, he had made himself a couple of friends, Severus Snape being one of them. Letter's flew in from his mother and father, appraising him on being in Slytherin and for making friends with the right crowd. No doubt his cousins have been watching him closely and reporting to his parents.
He found himself wanting to make his parents proud, so he found a small group of Gryffindor's that seemed like fun to rile up. And they retaliated which made it even more fun. Potter, Pettigrew and Lupin. Potter was a blood traitor, he had heard his cousin talking about him the moment he got sorted a put into Gryffindor. Pettigrew was nothing special, he followed Potter around like a bad disease, which in a way, Severus Snape did the same. Sirius had told his fellow Slytherin that.
Lupin was an entire different breed, however. At first glance, he was nothing but a half-blood Gryffindor first year. But as months stretched by, Sirius found himself more curious about this Gryffindor than the other two. And it stayed like that threw the years.
Now at sixteen, Sirius was treated like a king within Slytherin. First years wanted to be like him, seventh years obeyed him and everyone else seemed to just idolise him. It got annoying, especially when he wanted to pass the time by finding his favourite Gryffindor. He had told Regulus to not follow him, to make sure Snape wasn't going to find him as he hunted down for Lupin.
Soon enough, he found him and Sirius grinned; "miss another day of school, Lupin? Your mother must be real sick if she keeps needing you to go home to visit her."
