"Sirius!" Came a voice down the corridors. Some missions just never went right for him. This being a perfect example as he went running past his older cousin. "Run!" Was his echoing words. There was a loud roar from the opposite side of the caverns and there coming through the fog and dust The young Auror had left, came a two headed wolf with big vibrant and angry ed eyes. They had stumbled into yet another Death Eater trap.
Siriusâs head whirled around towards Doroâs voice, wand clasped tight in his hand as he watched his younger cousin running fast towards him. Away from a mist that was fast on his heels. He didnât need ask or to even be told twice to run, but he canât just help himself to wait until he seeâs what exactly is chasing them. Oh. Thatâs a lot bigger than what he thought heâd be dealing with, especially since it had an extra head. Sirius is quick to shoot a hex towards the two-headed wolf before darting fast and following Doro down the corridor.
Tonks chuckled softly and nodded. âF-For once I agree with you on somethingâŚI-I bet I would have made you really proudâŚyâknow if I was put in Gryffindor. Mâsorry though th-that I wasnâtâŚ.I always thought you were angry with me about thatâŚâ He frowned a little at the thought before wincing just in the slightest at the small stinging sensation, it could have been worse without the spells to his arm at least. âY-You got one out? Thanks cousin.â Doro mumbled quietly, a little blush on his fair cheeks. His hair slowly began to turn back to pink.Â
Sirius just shrugged at his younger cousin, working on fixing his wound. "I was a bit of prick about that, wasn't I? Look, Hufflepuff's are just as good and look at your mother, she was put into Slytherin even though she hated what the family stood for and I still like her, yeah? Don't worry about where you got put, Doro." Grey eyes looked up to meet Tonks, and he gave a warm smile. "Ready for the second?" He asks, and immediately takes the bark out before quickly soothing the wound with a wave of his wand. "Brand new, if you ask me."Â
Peter beamed, âAlright, well, thereâs probably an empty carriage already. Weâd better hurry up.â
He stuck out his tongue, before flashing a smile up at Sirius. "Race yah to the entrance!" And Peter, Peter who was not a good runner, but just enjoyed the sport, darted as fast as his little legs would take him across the hallway.
Sirius nodded his head, tailing after the other boy. Once the call to race was on, he picked up speed, moving his pace into a graceful jog. His dark hair bouncy on the wind. Once, of course, he passed Peter, he slowed down a little bit, pretending to trip and stumble on a stray branch for Peter to win the race towards the carriage.Â

"I..? What? Me?"
Peter flushed, he did oh so love getting compliments, and to get one from Sirius was always something that was treasured, because even the back ended insults could get tiring after a while, even if they directed to all of them. Peter smirked back at him. "I just thought, you might want to give the appearance to Professor McGonagall that we were going to behave and go by carriage so she doesnât eyeball us the whole time about how we arrivedâŚ"
Sirius grinned, winked and moved to wrap a lose arm around his comrade's shoulders. Sometimes he couldn't tell if it was just Peter playing along or he was actually generally grateful that they spare kindness for him. Lately, he thinks, it's got to be more playful and playing along rather than when they first had him tag along with the rest of them.Â
"Yes, Pete, the world is relying on you." He promises, pat's his back and begins to walk off before Peter stops him again with his words.Â
He hadn't thought of that.Â
"... We do have that match against Slytherin coming up... I guess safe and boring until after the match. Lead the way, master Pettigrew."Â
"Well, you know, didnât want Padfoot getting jealous did we? How we getting there? Humpback witch or are we going the boring way?â
"And because you're such a kind man, Peter, you get the honour of walking me." Sirius grins, "Humpback witch is the only way to travel! Honestly, have we taught you nothing?"

"Itâs more the spirit than the letter of the law you know." he chuckled and kissed him properly on the lips. "I really missed this you know? Missed holding you close. I donât want to go away again, Sirius."
Sirius just raised a brow, like he was skeptical. But when lips pressed fully against his, his eyes widened in surprise and he smirked, his arm wrapping around Remus' waist. "I'm back now, Moony." He coos, soothingly.Â
âSure! Are we going to Honeydukes? Are the others coming too?â
"Knowing Moony, he's probably already raided the place. Prongs said we'll meet 'em down there, I was coming to grab you. Why, Wormy? Don't want it to be just the two of us?"Â

"We're heading to Hogsmeade, you coming Wormtail?"

Standing, Remus could feel how sharply his muscles and bones reacted, and he grimaced with the least reaction he could. A walk would do him good. But as soon as he reached his hand out expectantly, a twinkle appeared in his eyes. âYour wand, then, Padfoot?â he asked, raising an eyebrow. It wasnât that he didnât trust SiriusâŚit was more that he knew his friend didnât have much impulse control. Just because he said heâd not do anything, didnât mean it wouldnât happen.Â
"You heard me." Sirius says, almost like he's standing his ground for a fighting reason. He can see the playfulness in Remus' eyes, something he's seen quite a few times when he's planning a well thought out prank. It's a look of genius, Sirius likes to think, every plan Remus has with that look is genius and he wants to taste the reason why this look is out. "I did promise, after all."Â
Light a Candle | Sirius Black
He hadnât been embraced like that in years, not since Sirius left. He turned around in his arms and hugged him back. âIn all your wanderings, Iâm just glad you wandered back to me Sirius.â he pecked him lightly on the cheek, an old habit from before his days as a priest.Â
Sirius smiles at the words, the warmth from the other's arms and not so oddly, the small press of lips against his skin. He wants to make a crack about that and does for old times sake. "Re-thinking about that celibacy oath, Remus?" There's a teasing in his voice, accompanied by the teasing in his smirk.Â
"I donât know a single person hereâŚ"
âIts a bar Sirius, Iâm sure I donât want to know all of them. That aside itâs not true you know me.â
Even though the muggle tavern was crouded, they had managed to get a spot at the bar. It was Remus favourite place, hidden in a small town, in the countryside, where close to no wizards lived. He could let himself go, even though he never did, but was relaxing to be amongst people, who wouldnât beieve him, even if he slipped up.
"So what youâre saying is, I should just give up on looking for any girl, because they all pale in comparison to you? Itâs not really fair though is it? Me not being allowed to go out and meet people while you know blondes. And judging from how you still keep glancing at that girl in the corner, youâre planning on getting to know brunettes as well? So not fair Padfoot."Â
Except if that would mean Iâd be allowed to get to know⌠Merlin! Get it together Moony! You are not drunk enough to be this openly jealous.Â
Deep, dark eyes turned and focused on him and suddenly it was hard for Remus to pick up on what these full, crimson lips were saying. âAre you sure brunettes are innocent?â He is not talking about you! What are you thinking?
"Yes." Sirius answers, quick and without a second thought. "I said I knew blondes, but you are right, I want to know brunettes." He says, because he feels like he could learn a bit more about brunettes -- one in particular -- and more so, because he can't seem to find a filter for his words anymore. Like the blue drink has stopped him from watching what he was saying.Â
He's never been good at it, but this devil drink is making it worse.Â
"What? Saying that their not, Remus?" He raises a brow, leans on the bar-top and tilts his head. "Give me an example."Â
