I'm Not a Complete Bastard, But I Play One on TV
momalaice replied to your photo: You heard me. I think you heard me.
Having a bad day? *HUGS* I hope it gets better.
It did. Nailed that one out of the park. I was hip deep in reports, numbers, and trying to reconcile them all together. Even with the assistance of VBA and Excel, it was a nightmare and a half.

Do I have to?
No, friend, you're good. ;)
I was tagged twice, so I'll answer all of the questions here.
From Dan:
1. Most cherished possession?
This is a hard one. I would have to say it's probably the ring that I received from my grandmother (that I somehow lost the pearl out of). She is slowly giving her jewelry away to all of her granddaughters, and I really love the ring.
2. Favorite location you’ve ever been to?
I loved Nashville. I've only been once, but that city is amazing.
3. Your personal favorite year for music?
I have no idea.
4. Do you call it dressing or stuffing?
Stuffing.
5. Favorite TV show that is no longer on the air?
Fraggle Rock. Loved it as a kid.
6. Who was your first best friend?
My cousin Abby. Actually she's still one of my best friend. She's 3 months younger than me and we've been best friends since the day we met.
7. Do you wear shoes/socks around the house?
Socks, yes. Shoes, no.
8. One album/cd to keep forever. What is it?
Oh god, there are so many. But, Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" was the soundtrack to my teen years and I still love it.
9. What relaxes you?
Reading. And music.
10. You have one night alone, all to yourself. What will you do?
Read. While listening to music.
11. Do you think 2013 be a good or bad year for you?
I have to assume that 2013 will be a great year for me. At least I hope so.
From Wendy:
1. Do you have any left over toys from childhood?
Mostly books, actually. Not a ton of toys. All are still at my parents' house. I DO still have my baby blanket as well.
2. What is your favorite fairytale and why?
I'm not big on fairytales. Probably Hansel & Gretel, mostly because I like the idea of leaving a trail of food.
3. If you knew you could get away with it would you murder anyone? Who?
I don't know if I could do it. But, I would totally kill my ex. Not the most recent one, but the asshole one from many years ago.
4. What is your go to sing in the shower song?
Whatever song is on Pandora. As long as I know it.
5. What do you like on your hotdog?
Mustard, onions, dill pickles.
6. Best thing about where you live?
Grand Rapids is a constantly growing city, and I love it. And there's always something going on.
7. Last movie that made you cry or tear up?
Hmmm... I think it was "My Girl"... yeah...
8. What position do you sleep in?
Fetal, on my right side.
9. What’s your guilty pleasure?
New Kids On The Block music. Yup. Love it.
10. Can you wink and if you can 1 eye or both?
Both. I just tried it. I probably looked like a drunk pirate.
11. Righty, lefty or do you go both ways?
Righty. I can't use my left hand for anything other than typing.
I'm supposed to tag other people, and come up with my own questions, but I'm kind of too lazy for that right now.
Wendy tagged me
Your Questions 1) Your dream job
One in the nursing field. Must finish school first. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going to work or work within many different areas, but I am looking forward to nursing very much so.
2) Are you ticklish?
I'm not certain there isn't a ticklish spot on myself. I have also tickled myself, which I hear isn't supposed to be possible.
3) Goto cure for hiccoughs?
patience
4) Favorite thing to eat that most people find strange
Calamari? That isn't very strange. Chips on my sandwich. Fries on my burger. Cheddar cheese on toast with jam. I'm sure I eat something more strange than these things.
5) Biggest turn on
Intelligence, of course more here, but that one is 100% in the lead.
6) Biggest turn off
Surprisingly I had many more in mind here than one, but I think I think stupidity is up there, even though I know stupid people can't help being stupid. They also don't know they are stupid....just does nothing for me.
7) Bath or shower?
Yes to both. I shower for quickness and convenience. I take a fast, fast shower. I had never really been one to soak in the tub, but I have enjoyed the tub much more over the last year or so.
8) Favorite smell
One of favorite smells is home cooking.
9) One thing you can do really well
The above...cooking and baking.
10) Share a memory that never fails to make you happy
There are some wonderful memories I have been able to have. I am going to answer this one that really always gives me more a sense of peace. There was a spot on the hill of the mountain that I lived at the bottom of, when I lived in Greece that I could go up and watch the amazing sunset over the water on the horizon. You could see a portion of the mountain and the water as the sun would set. It was amazing. It brought me much time to find peace through my pre-teen and teen years and that memory of sitting there thinking and that beauty is something that still will calm me and bring me peace today.
(If I can I will think of questions to tag and share....right now, I just wanted to not forget to do this.)
