Becoming accustomed to the feeling of cross-dimensional transportation was a trial in and of itself. Deconstructed to the most minute form of matter, and arranged back together like normal, the sickening lurch of dimension jumping left Zavok briefly disoriented whereupon he stood.
He knew not how long the Gateway would remain open. The structure is unstable. Its power source, doubly so. It could be a matter of days, weeks, even months... or mere hours, if so much as minutes.
Soon regaining full control of his senses, the imposing Zeti brings himself to stand upright, straightening his posture and rolling his shoulders to dispel phantom aches.
No vestigial limbs had appeared where they do not belong. Good.
Thus came to mind the next problem - figuring out where exactly the wormhole had deposited him. This is no Hex, for certain. The air feels nowhere near as charged. The land stretches far and wide, with no signs of a sudden breach or drop into the Abyss; for that matter, there seems to be no Abyss.
Terra firma. Precious in its stability and, undoubtedly, in its resources.
All that is left now is to assess the population... if any. The champion's hopes remained tempered, banked patiently until he could discern if these grounds could be populated by his kind.
