Common Vegan Mayos (UK)
Third place Chippa Mayo, Price £1 - £2
for the price it isn’t bad in an emergency but they really isn’t much flavour, it defo just add moisture. I use this one maybe in a fajita wrap or something where there’s already a ton of flavour.
Second place, Tesco Free from Mayo-Maize, Price £1 - £2 (usually £1.50)
This is probably you best bang for buck, as it taste almost the same as veganaise but for half the price and it’s available at most tesco store. The sqeeze bottom could do with a upgrade as the mayo is so thick it gets stuck at the bottom, so you have to get a dessert spoon to scoop it out, alos you only really get two good sqeezes out of these so make them count. Your know what I mean if you buy it. I think this is my favourite because it’s easily available and a good price but isn’t quite as luxurious as.........
First Place, Follow your Heart, Vegeniase, Price £2.50 - £8 (it’s on amazon for 8 quid, bloody hell m8, am I right?)
Veganaise is the dogs bullocks mate, It’s so creamy and I can’t wait for all the other flavour to hit the UK. It’s easy to find if your in London or anywhere with a Vegan store like VX but tricky to find in common places. Apparently there’s a big sainsburys up the road from me that does it but that’s long, it is really good and when ever I have it I alway ration it to myself and try to spread out its use because when it’s gone I get sad. It is the priceyest out of the bunch I’ve mostly seen it for around £3 odd, £3.99ish (in london) don’t buy it for £8 unless you desperate, I get it, it’s good but don’t mug yourself off and get it for £8 (unless you really want to and ok with getting mugged off). I can’t wait to this becomes even more common and you can pick it up like hellmans, or hellmans hurry up and bring out their own Vegan mayo.
I hope this helped with your Mayo choices. Peace
Defoodma
