Please file under sarcasm: I want to nominate both Governor Braun and Lieutenant Governor Beckwith for the Sagamore of the Wabash award which is the highest honor the Governor of Indiana regularly bestows on individuals. These two outstanding state executives displayed behavior to be emulated by all Hoosiers by posting on social media before facts were known about Mark Sanchez’s assault on a blue collar worker. These 2 also bravely erased their posts and have declined to answer questions on the matter. Bravo!
OK, more seriously, thank you WFYI, for reporting on this matter. Since our local NPR station is without both federal and state support since 1 October, may I suggest that in addition to public apologies to Mayor Hogsett and Prosecutor Mears, both Braun and Beckwith become sustaining members of WFYI? Hoosiers need clear factual unbiased reporting.
