Laurel could remember the Thea from her Earth. She had been younger than, Ollie's baby sister but Laurel had liked her. Had begun to think of her as her own sister before her life had fallen apart with the death of Ollie. Now she was faced with the older woman, one who had loved her doppelganger in a way she was almost jealous of. "I'm sure you don't care much about why I helped Prometheus but I have my reasons." Her father was one of them and she owed him. Laurel always paid her debts.

She almost felt bad about having to deceive Thea when she had first come back pretending to be Laurel. It was hard having hope for the dead, she knew as well as anyone. Everyone she lost in her world was alive in this one. "I don't have a reason to hurt you now."

“No I’m not here for more I think I left my phone in your place and I need it back. And to tell you I wouldn’t spread a rumor you slept with me my brother would kill you if he found out.”

She enters the place to look for her phone. “And he would kill me if he saw what is on my phone did you see it?”

“Why would I spread a rumor about who I sleep with?” he asks, “and I’m pretty sure your phone isn’t there.” A sigh leaves his lips, and Roy takes a step to the side, letting her in.

“Like I said I haven’t seen it, but I’m gonna take a big guess and say that it’s either here or close to the bed.” He stuffs his hands in the pockets of the red hood he’s wearing. “Or maybe where you found your purse this morning.” Roy shrugs, “So what’s on the phone?”

Oliver threw the tabloid into the trash. Fucking paparazzi, they had no morals. They wait for the most damning moment and then spin their tales to force the rumor mill to run amuck. “There’s nothing that can be done Thea. At this point I’ll have to make a statement, but as of right now Mayor Queen has been spotted at a drug deal.” It didn’t matter that he was interrupting a young girl buying pain killers and then took her to the hospital for treatment. It was the two second shot of a lifetime that came with headlines like “Mayor Handsome Falling Back to Playboy Ways?” 

“I’ll have to put out a statement.” But how to explain that he was in that part of town because he was heading into his secret vigilante lair?
