Hii! I love love lovee the fic about haymitch, Bittersweet symphony! Just curious if it’s on permanent hiatus, or do you think you’re gonna keep writing it?

I’d say that Bittersweet Symphony is not on permanent hiatus, I do want to finish it.

However, I’m a very busy law student and these last six months, I’ve been taking exams to finally get my degree - I’m nearly done now, I’m currently working on my thesis paper, and then I’ll finally have that degree! These last few months have been extremely busy, and there sadly wasn’t much time and/or motivation to sit down and write.

On top of that, I’ve been feeling as though no one really cares about this story anymore. I know, I know - with me not uploading for six months, how do I still expect people to care? And yes, I don’t write & upload this story expecting tons of comments and re-blogs, however it is kind of disheartening to see how much the response has died down when compared to the first few chapters I’ve uploaded.

I’ve actually been thinking about re-booting / re-writing (and, of course, hopefully finishing) this story during summer & fall - I’ll finally have more free time on my hands, and it will be just in time to prepare for the movie‘s release!

So, long story short: I haven’t abandoned this project (even though it might look like it). It’s still on my mind and I want to find my way back to it. Maybe I’ll see you in early June? :)

small update to say that I’ve finally finished 6/6 exams (these last two weeks have been an absolute fever dream to say the least) and I’m SO ready to dive back into writing after resting for a bit :)

Hi!

I‘m not quite sure whether you’ve noticed, but I quickly wanted to address that yes, I did delete some of my older imagines - namely all my Coriolanus Snow, Steve Harrington and Jacaerys Velaryon fics. (And I’m still debating on whether or not I should keep the distracted Robb Stark fic up …)

Why? Because looking back on them, I didn’t really like my writing in these fics anymore. They were mostly smutty for the sake of being smutty- and I’m not saying that there’s anything‘s wrong with that, I just didn’t like the way I went about writing them.

I still have all these fics saved on my laptop and maybe I’ll edit & re-upload them to a new blog, but moving forward, I want to focus my writing on building character development & relationships over time and also branch out of writing only x reader fanfics.

I hope you understand this decision - but looking back on these fics, I just really didn’t like what I was seeing.

However I’m super stressed and busy (I’ve got some extremely important exams coming up in August) and I don’t really have much writing time to begin with, so it may take me while (a loooot of time, I think) to get to writing requests
