Hello, it is I, the recent anon once more (could I please be your 🦈anon?)
I feel like the yandere kidnapper trope is so perfect for Choso. He values his family above all else (we love a family man😍) and would totally be delusional enough to steal you away so you could live a happy domestic life elsewhere. Maybe Yuji could even visit! Unlike Shiu he definitely believes he’s a good man doing a good thing.
I think if Hiromi were to kidnap you, he would make it impossible for you to live without him if you escaped. Maybe he’d trick you into signing all your assets away with an ironclad contract, that way you’d have nothing without him.
You kinda already did this in a different smau but I think Toji would convince you you’re in danger and that he could protect you, tricking you into trapping yourself. He’s more clever than people give him credit for, he did set up that whole Hidden Inventory scheme after all.
Anyways, not a request I just had thoughts I wanted to share because I’m now trapped on this train of thought lol
🦈 anon, I fear we may be sharing the same braincells...
ugh this is literally all so true! choso def falls to the delusional end of the spectrum, he's probably the most caught up in his fantasy of being with you. which means although he would kidnap you, he wouldn't prob go as far with physical violence as some of the other characters (shout out to my goat shoko) because he truly believe that you are in love with each other.
hiromi and nanami are interesting because I see them as very similar characters in a lot of ways, but quite different yanderes. hiromi is much more lucid, like shiu, while I think nanami leans a lot more into the crazy delusional underneath his facade. hiromi would def use his connections and power to keep you in place, rather than physically kidnapping you. he knows all the failures and loopholes of the systems, and best believe he will exploit every single one.
I know you didn't bring up nanami in your ask but I def see him as delusional like choso. full into kidnapping and stalking. maybe shibuya did something to him, but now he's convinced he can't live without you. he is lucid enough to cover his tracks and lure you into traps, but not enough to acknowledge that what he is doing is wrong.
also you are so right that toji is smarter than he seems! especially if you're a fellow assassin, he lets you take the lead in a lot of cases, lulling you into thinking of him as the muscle of the group. it causes a lot of his more subtle actions and manipulations to be overlooked by you (leading to the events of the smau you mentioned...)
