You guys need to stop tagging me in that movies meme because I SUCK AT MOVIES. You will just all find out how terrible how I am and how very little (read: almost none) movies I watch in a year and you will hate me, lol.

M, A, Y for the fandom ask :)
LOL. Thank you May, for playing along.
M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend
Karen Walker from Will & Grace. It’s been so great to see her pop back up again!
A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.
Well, I’ve been immersed in all things Luke Cage, so TempleCage and ShadyMariah are cranking my engine right now.
Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
LOL. this is a great one. I feel like I know SO MUCH about Agents of SHIELD, and all of the DC TV shows, and the only one I watch is The Flash.

Yeah, the season was the opposite of what they said at comic-con! Like they promised more Angie but that didn't happen. Also they didn't exactly addressed racism like they promised either. What I wanted was to know more about Peggy. More about her family and her principals that would later help established SHIELD. Her backstory where she almost got married was weird. They should've spent more time developing that and her relationship with her brother!
Exactly! There was no need to shoehorn in romantic relationships when they could have just expanded the existing relationships with friends and family.
I don’t mind her having a love interest but not at the expense of the rest of her character development/personal story.

Yeah, it wasn’t a great season. I don’t know what the writers were thinking… I was sad because of all the lost potential to be honest. They could’ve done so much more. On the top of my head, I can think of several storylines that could be tied into the MCU movies already!
Well, what the writers apparently were thinking was: now that our very vocal fans secured us a second season, let’s do the opposite of what they loved about the show!
Granted, it wasn’t all bad. Dottie was a delight, and I really liked the complete lack of cattiness or unfounded jealousy in the Peggy/Ana dynamic. Seeing more of Rose was fun, too.
But OMFG the forced heterosexual love angle was a constant annoyance, and not only because there was no indication in S1 that Peggy was interested in Daniel. (Probably actual conversation in the writers room: “Let’s make sure the audience understands there is NO HOMO!” - “Yes, good! But just to be safe, let’s remove Angie from the picture altogether.”) Also, what a waste of the only black character! Why give him more development if we can just use him as a romantic interest and further the story lines of white characters.
Didn’t care for the way they went with Whitney either, and then they kept pushing stuff that was background/inspiration for comics!Tony on Howard which just made me mad.
There was soooo much they could have done with those characters and it felt like they weren’t even trying.

“This might be random but I saw an AU gifset where Peggy became Tony's...”

This is another reason why I'm bitter that Agent Carter got cancelled. I know the chances were slim but we could've gotten Tony's childhood with Peggy, Jarvis and Maria being there for him. Oh, I would've loved to see Peggy arguing with Howard. While I loved Peggy and Steve's relationship, it was such a shamed that Marvel didn't expand Peggy's relationship with any other characters. She was the freaking founder of SHIELD for god's sake! Give her the respect she deserves!
Absolutely! I would have loved if they’d fast-forwarded a little for season 2. I would have much rather watched Peggy building up SHIELD and being Tony’s god-mother than that train wreck of a season we actually got.
For me there was so little left to enjoy in season 2 that I wasn’t even upset when the show was cancelled, tbh.

Ouch! I hope you’re okay!
Thanks hon! Hand’s pretty ouchy and I’m unable to work for a few days, but it should be fine soon.
