Ok I’m running very late for Maytroid but here’s a big bad guy

My reinterpretation of 80s Retro Samus from Metroid 1. The design of Samus was quite different then and my interpretation takes some liberties. I also took inspiration from Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 1 and went for a more realistic look, making it my first more realistic face I've ever done in pixel art.

Unlike Nintendo, who chose Kim Basinger as a base for Samus in Super Metroid and Prime 1 (at least I feel they did for the latter too), I chose a french singer of the era named Dalida. Her strong facial features and big beautiful blonde hair fit the image of Samus as an 80s space icon pretty well in my mind.
