So, it was a treat to have the Mazda CX-50 as my art and adventure rig for the week in California. It was easy to shift gears from splitboarding to setting up a group art exhibition at the @alpenglowgallery in Truckee, CA. . Group shows are my favorite - Artistic expression comes through such different means, but at the end of the road we all share an investment to creating meaningful, visual expressions of our personal experiences. Whether the medium be painting, drawing, or, in the case of the CX-50, seamless, functional design, it was such a joy to see everyone’s artwork together, share the evening with new and old friends, and celebrate the textures of adventure and the great outdoors. .
