She was mid natural makeup-- face still sporting the barest hints of green and she hadn’t even made it to the blue contacts yet (they were the worst part). Sure, the ring could make any outfit happen, but only when she was pretending to be Zow-- every morning was hours in the bathroom just to look... Normal. She missed her own name, her... original, she missed green, but she didn’t miss Maz hating her. Being Zow meant he cared for her again, even if he’d seemed different, lately.
Still-green eyes open to the mirror, meeting a pair more naturally colored half-hidden behind dark fringe. Her voice catches in her throat, but she’s between him and the door already, panic apparent;
“I can explain.”
