oh man hi anon. wild question. hard question when i've written. a lot of fics! i think right now my favourite and the one i would recommend the most is my polyeden mer au fic . requires no knowledge of previous works in the series And i think it has some of my favourite scenes that i've written ever including uhhh . ibara vs. the horrors (body and gender), nagisa ran literally picking ibara up off the ground and taking her home, hiyori also literally picking jun up off the ground and taking him home, and gay politically arranged marriages

A splash sounds from his left, and Chiaki whips his head around, hoping to catch sight of some kind of tail slipping back beneath the water, any indication that there’s a school of fish nearby, just waiting for him to come and catch them.

There’s no fin, no tails, no glinting scales, but — Chiaki swears, for a moment, that he sees a glint of green eyes and blue hair. A fragment of a memory — the golden-orange sunset, coughing up half the sea from his lungs, lips pressed against his own, the taste of salt and ocean air on his tongue.

And then the sunlight reflects off of an incoming wave, near-blinding, and Chiaki can only think that he imagined it.

regardless by a series of circumstances involving bioengineering and unethical experiments and eichi inheriting a truly batshit insane sea war. keito ends up interacting with kuro a lot! gets to know him! they fall in love! also ummmm he may be eichi’s like #1 operative in aforementioned sea war which includes magical sabotage of his enemies (the shinkais) and their associates…. notedly one (1) shu itsuki and her proteges
