Who Are They?
The lovely lady is, once again, my beloved Kitt'n and the blue baby boy smooching her hand is @the-soupiest-artist's Raymond (with a cameo of Sebastien and Lyra in the background)
What's the Story?
This scene is the direct result of Soup getting me into Bridgerton tbh 😂 but anyways... So! Kitt'n gets romanced a lot - or, at least she used to, when I still played with her - and it was just kind of inevitable that she'd end up with Soup's Slaqure boys because they're just so precious. Raymond was actually her first Slaqure romance! Sebastien was her second, and honestly my more preferred of the pairings, but she adores them both and loves them both for entirely different reasons. Raymond is fun. He's passionate and adoring and rambunctious, he's kind of like if you mixed Orpheus from Hadestown with Daniel Thrasher - he's just a really silly wholesome guy. If Raymond is her Orpheus, then Kitt'n is his Eurydice. And Kitt'n kind of needs that in her life, something - someone - to remind her what is so wonderful about being alive, to give her a reason to look forward to the next day and the next after that. Raymond does that, he comes on strong and sincere and Kitt'n finds him so undeniably sweet that she just can't help but to smile when she sees his face. She wants to be in his company, she wants to listen to him play the piano because it makes her want to sing again. Raymond makes her beautiful. They're like a good book. Something you want to pick up again and keep on your shelf - something you want to invest in. Maybe they aren't my favourite pairing, but I deeply adore the way that these two are together. They can be almost toothachingly sweet with all the silly lovely little things they eventually get up to together. Raymond is such a genuine adoring character, and when I saw this prompt, it was so easy to pick him.
