haiii i dont believe ive posted in a while but im back again! i made a jesskas render for winter :D ahh i wanted to do a christmas render but never got around to it, so heres a regular winter render lol

so i have a thing for the mind numbing amount of little details and complexities in the world. i think its incredible that a thousand people live within two miles of me, and that all their life stories could fill a library. theres so much stuff in the world and it fucking rocks!
anyways. someone made the mistake of making a minecraft map big enough to kill god. and i kid you not there are thousands of fully detailed buildings with interiors.
you can walk up to any house in any part of the map, open the front door and walk in, and find a set of fully decorated rooms. as far as i can tell, theres no copy and pasting or anything. every single room in every single house is unique.
i'm not quite sure i can express how fucking ridiculous this is. if you told someone 10 years ago that there would be a game the size of San Andreas where you could not only enter any building on the map, but also dynamically destroy and modify them - they would have thought you were insane! itd be like trying to explain cheetos to a small victorian boy.
but it's here, and it's localized entirely in my copy of minecraft. it's like a dream come true. being able to walk around an entire city and just look at everything in it is already an amazing thing. but being able to do it in minecraft, where i have no one to stop me and nothing more important to do?
i could spend years taking pictures of this place. theres a thousand different places with a thousand different things. and every single one of those things i could portray a thousand different ways.
thats, like, a billion pictures i could take. thats a lot of pictures. and i have all the time in the world to take them.
