Animals and pets editon

Rosa:

-likes all sorts of pets, they just don’t have one

-will go to dog parks or pet stores with Luke just to pet dogs and cats

-even finicky ​​cats like her

-knows that Peanut is named after her (since she is Luke’s Watson)

Artem:

-his parents didn’t let him have a pet when he was younger

-he doesn’t seem much like an animal person anyway

-so he doesn’t have a pet but he’d definitely like to go to the aquarium to stare at pretty fish (please take him on an aquarium date to pet stingrays)

-moon jellies are cool too!

-jellies in general are just peaceful to look at for Artem

Vyn:

-probably likes cats

-the kind of cats that only love certain people too

-I can’t trust him because he can speak to squirrels (from his Snowy Fairy Tale SR card)

-has intense staring contests with the bunnies that dare to go near his garden

-cherishes the little toads and birds that sit on the rocks in his garden

-I can really imagine him with a pet white ferret draped across his shoulders for some reason

Luke:

-Peanut is his favorite pet of all time

-likes other small animals, especially other little birds

-maybe it’s because Peanut looks a little bit like a myna bird, but I think that he’d like to have a myna and make it repeat silly things

-had a bunch of pets growing up, maybe even a turtle

-also has a pet hamster (because he also reminds me of one)

-has the vibes of a puppy (Rosa has definitely patted his head at some point)

-although he doesn’t have a dog because he’s too busy to properly take care of one

-the kind of person to name pets after food and I’m not just saying this because he has Peanut

-once brought Peanut to an NXX meeting and sent him to attack Vyn

Mari:

-a dog person

-likes all kinds of dogs but has a preference for medium to large-sized super fluffy ones

-big animals have always been cool to him

-has always liked to visit tigers at the zoo when he was little

-definitely has an elegant looking fat pet snake with a dumb name

I finally started playing Tears of Themis. MC & Tsuzuru would be friends. Thanks @thechavanator for encouraging this idea ^ w ^

Doesn't matter how they met, just that they have and gosh did they hit it off. Finally someone who understands their struggles

Childhood friend who disappeared for years for reasons and now feels guilty and tries to overcompensate as an eternal apology? Check.

Constantly dealing with a willful brat who pushes boundaries for what they consider love? Yep

In constant contact with an ethereal, beautiful man with many talents and a soothing but intimidating demeanor? Are you sure we're not living the same life?

Absolutely bond over the stupid ways the rich and powerful use their money and status

"You will not believe what Marius did the other day."

"Masumi's tried to reserve entire restaurants because the Director said she wanted to try their new curry – try me."

"...Maybe you will believe."

They also have days where they just work while they’re together. MC finding it easier to turn down the invitations she gets and Tsuzuru appreciating a less chaotic environment to focus in

They meet at least once a month, though often they try for twice

After several well-timed "coincidences”, Tsuzuru decides to just invite Izumi along (MC has choice words for several parties later)

MC and Izumi get along great as well, and Izumi's addition seems to smooth over the ruffled feathers of MC's overprotective suitors (MC definitely has…chats…later 🙃)

End up becoming purveyors of hidey-hole places because even with this change, they know people with massive social circles and would really appreciate it if rumors they're dating would stop

Then they realize they really like the atmosphere of said places so actively seek them out

Tsuzuru bouncing ideas off MC:

"You think that’s too much?"

"You can add more. People do worse, trust me."

By nature of their jobs, both are constantly learning, so will often exchange titles and recommendations of various media

Frequently lose track of time when engaging in conversation over the books and plethora of other topics they know about

At first, they tried to hide their coffee orders and appear "normal", but after a particularly difficult week, one of them slips ups and orders their usual monstrosity

"I could use one of those" the other comments, before spiking their coffee with an energy drink

When they both realize what just transpired they stare at each other, mortified

"I'm a college student with an original play and 3 essays due soon!" Tsuzuru justifies

"I studied law!" MC puts out

Understanding they're cut from the same cloth, the two breakdown in laughter and are a lot more chill around each other

The only other person they'll trust with their coffee orders
