new leaf piles in the latest snapshot naturally generate in forests!

in my personal opinion, the new leaf piles are kinda lame if its *just* the dead brown ones. would be nice if there's a biome tinted green variant and a "dry" variant like the one we have rn. looks a bit like poo in the forest atm lol

I will say the brown dead leaves look great in dark oak forests. Looks like the beginnings of the *illusion* of a substrate!

I still find this bug in the 1.17 snapshot hilarious

All cats are missing their left front leg. What code even causes that? And how did it get messed with in the cave and cliffs update?

But I'm lowkey gonna be sad when it gets fixed cuz I like the little bit of flavor it adds. Maybe they're going to give more cat variants without adding new textures.
