Hey girl! I was just wondering if you could elaborate on your "Sand Sonnet" poem! It's really interesting and I'd love to know more about it :)

When I wrote it, the sand and the water were a metaphor for two people in each other’s company. The water, seemingly randomly, crashes on the shore, where the sand, absorbs it, like a person coming into someone’s life suddenly. The sand is “full” with water, like how other people make us feel complete. But the sun, (let’s say, the inevitable events of life) eventually evaporates the water leaving the sand empty and dry again, like when you lose connection with the person who made you feel whole.
