I'm actually really against acab, only because it does the same thing that I fight against, which is put a group of people into a stereotype. Honestly, I'm more for MOST cops are bastards, because I fucking hate most cops, but im looking at those cops who stood with the protesters then looking at acab and... it doesnt feel right. It feels too much like "all Islamic are terrorists" or "all gays have hiv" or some shit. Like, I know this sounds bad coming from a white person, but... I know for a fact not all cops are bastards. There was this very lovely colored cop in my high school who was so kind and caring... and like, I hate how all of these cops are making him look bad. I hate how people are going to look at him now and call him names and fucking attack him. I understand what's happening right now, with all those bastards who are taking delight in beating down protesters. But, we're forgetting about the ones fighting it... like, the Virginia national guard refuses to go to DC despite being requested to help push back the protesters. And, in Norfolk, the cops stood and kneeled with the protesters. In fucking NORFOLK. Like, I know I'm going to be attacked for this post, but... I cant just sit quietly and let good people be attacked? And, I saw a post that says that if you say "not all cops are bad" you're excusing the bad ones and that's just not true. Ask anyone, I fucking HATE most of these cops. I do stand for the fact that MOST cops are bastards, but not all... it feels like a stereotype and... I hate stereotypes. I've been hurt by them too often. So, I dont stand for acab. I stand for mcab.... attack me all you want, but my mind cant be changed.
