Our 1964 365HP with factory AC Corvette Coupe was still titled in the original owner’s name when we purchased in 2022. We have all the original order paperwork when the vehicle was special ordered on Christmas Eve 1963 at Aden Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Brunswick, Missouri. The production date for this car was February 14, 1964, and then delivered to Aden Chevrolet-Oldsmobile for pickup by the Wheeler family. We have every document that was involved in the purchase/delivery including the GMAC financing agreement, all copies bill of sale, warranty book, original window sticker, original owner’s manual signed by Arkus Duntov and his wife Elfi and Dave McClellan and his wife Glenda. The engine block stamp pad, VIN and TRIM TAG have been authenticated as original by CCAS Affirmation Service (Al Grenning). When Mr. Wheeler passed in 1984 with 65686 original miles, the car was purchased by James Patterson of Bloomington Indiana, who never titled the car in his name, so it remained titled to James Wheeler. Mr. Patterson put the car away in storage with the intention of restoring it someday. It remained in storage until 2022 when we purchased it and began the frame-off restoration with a totally original no-hit body, original drivetrain and all the documents to put it back to as it rolled off the assembly line in St. Louis February 14,1964. As a Tuxedo Black, black leather interior 1964 Coupe with 365HP motor and factory A/C, and ordered with NO Tinted Windows, it is believed to be One of One in this configuration.
