Work and Other Irritants

Why do people have to be so stupid? For starters, I work at McDonalds and thank GOD my last day is tomorrow - I can't take it. That should give you enough indication of my angst towards society.

One: Smurf toys are simply toys. I'm so sick and tired of hearing Smurf realted questions. I want to get a gun and "smurf" half the people who come through. Who cares which toy we have, when we'll get more, and where the hell Smurfette and Papa Smurf are. Your kids probably don't know who those Smurfs are or didn't know until this movie came out. I haven't seen it, but I hear its good. But don't be feeding your kids fat food just to get a silly toy.

Two: I don't know you nor do I want to know your life story. There are game shoes called "Minute to Win It" not "Tell the Cashier Your Life Story in 3 Minutes or Less." I don't care if you work in fast food and your fries are cold. I don't care that you are coming from the fair. I don't care that you ate Broccoli and Cheese for dinner. Give me your money and go home. Better yet - don't come here at all. Make your own food lazy assholes. Nine times out of ten do I want to hear any fact about your life. Only a few people can come through and do that. Why? Cause I like them and they are really nice people.

Three: If I say I'm not making something, don't ask for them. Some dumbass bitch came through at 11:58, drive through closes in 2 minutes. She asked if the fries were fresh and I flat out told her no. I wasn't about to have someone yell at me if I gave them cold fries. Had she come five or so minutes earlier I may have put them down. After saying I only had another minute open and not making fries, she proceeded to order them, although because she's stupid it sounded like she said a Sprite so that's what I rang her up for. She got up to the window and asked if they were fresh, referring to the fries, and I said I thought she wanted a Sprite and said we didn't have any fries as well as I wasn't putting any more down. I gave her the 1.75 for her drink and she just gave me this look of "you little fuck" BITCH PLEASE. Do not start with me, I just want to close my area and go the hell home. And I told you we didn't have fries AND I wasn't going to make them. Back up.

In the end, people need to learn drive through and fast food etiquette. The "dos and don'ts" if you will. I figure if assholes know that, then we'll all live in a semi-happier state and I won't have to yell at you.

I can't wait to go back to school.
