Family structure: Darkleer Father, older brother horuss, younger brother Equius

Butler who raised both of them Aurthor

Mother is diseased.

Whitewashed from their culture due to the racist standards of other rich families. They still keep their connections to horses and strength close to their hearts , they all take pride in their own long an lucious hair. All thaught to take care of their muscles and hair since young.

Darkleer: distant from both sons, neutral relationship with Equius. Negative relationship with Horuss. Boss and employee relationship with Aurthor

Horuss: emotionally distant from Equius, tends to be strict and discipline him a lot. Makes sure to tend to his appearance and training when needed. Hates his father. Tries to step up as a mentor to Equius. Close relationship with Aurthor. Goes to him for advice and comfort, has not handled the loss of his mother well, becoming bitter hateful and resentful after her passing. Constantly fantasizing about revenge for all who hurt her

Equius: doesnt have any negative or positive feelings towards Darkleer. He was never close to him or to his mother. Due to how young he was at her passing and being lied to about her death. He experienced a healthy amount of grief but moved on believing she was in a better place and that life keeps going. Sees Horuss as a good older brother and looks up to him. Aurthor and him have a father son relationship. Aurthor is his best friend after nepeta.

Horuss struggles with internalized homophobia, refusing to be a sinner again after having his heart broken. Avoids all relationships due to his desire to remain faithful yet his incapability of loving a woman or feeling attracted to one. Thinks poor people dont work hard enough, very classist and only keeps around poor people that he believes are “one of the good ones”

equius takes after his brother. Too young to understand the world and form his own opnions he just copy and pastes whatever Horuss says despite not truly believing it. Hes far more impulsive than Horuss and will engage in “sinful” behavior with no regards for consequences, but if called out for that or confronted will feel shame guilt and large amounts of distress

Both Equius and Horuss were brought up in Protestant all boys private school. Horuss is currently getting an engeniring degree in a prestigious college.
