Go Lord Garroth AU, be free

Random tidbits of info (I am only up to S1EP57 for my MCD rewatch, so might be mildly inaccurate when it comes to canon lore LMAOO):

Garroth is the sitting lord until Alina becomes old enough to replace him

Raven is here both as emotional support and propaganda.

Laurance is not head guard, but rather, Garroth’s personal guard.

Laurance only gets out of the nether after Aphmau goes missing

Zenix is here too, but I’m not sure how to incorporate him lmao.

Laurance wears his shadow knight armor to make a statement

Alina is formally training to become a guard, whereas Lilith isn’t. Garroth and Laurance made sure that they both know how to fight well regardless.

Alina and Lilith-Garnet would playout the most dramatic scenes using their toys. Type of girls who would recreate the french revolution with their dolls and then put two dolls in the same bed and act like it's the most scandalous thing ever. Their source material is Aphmau after all.

Some fluff about wings (UPDATED)

Aphmau can fly, she has wings after all. After she and the gang rescue Levin, Malachi, and Zoey and arrive at Phoenix Drop they rest. The night they came back, Aphmau just laid there. It wasn't uncommon, but it was odd as she was exhausted. But she couldn't sleep, all she could think about was her new form. She said out loud wondering if she could fly, which earned her a pillow in the face by Katelyn.

Travis was curious, so he offered to help teach her. He wanted to help, but he didn't have wings. So, it didn't start the best. As the first thing Travis did was pushed her off the big tree, which failed. The whole thing started slow. She first learned how to glide, which she was so happy about. And after many crashes, she learned to land properly. Finally, she learned how to fly completely. By the time the Alliance Island arc happened she could and did fly around easily and often.

During her flying lessons, she was taught by the gang. She didn't want to bug the residents of Phoenix Drop, and the gang often traveled. Let's just say everyone found out how strong Aphmau's grip was during her training. By the time she finally got the hang of flying, she would start to play some pranks on her crew. She would fly down and gently pick up them and fly them up a few inches off the ground. Travis and Isabella love it, the others not so much.

When the girls came, she would gently pick them up and hold on to them tightly and fly them high in the air. It scared the crap out of everyone when she first did it with Lilith, two days after they got her. And a month after Alina was born, the same thing happened. But Aphmau kept doing it, because it both calm the girls, and she wanted them to experience the skies. Lilith loved it the most, it's what spark her love for exploring.

The only downside is that Aphmau's wings need molt four times a year. This can cause her to be a bit grouchy during molting season. But she makes good use of the fallen feathers.

People calling mcd Aphmau a bad mom for not being with her kids 24/7 drives me up the FUCKING WALL.

APHMAU AND ZOEY HAD A GOOD SYSTEM. ZOEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS IN DURING THE DAY AND APHMAU WOULD TAKE CARE OF THEM IN THE EVENING. THATS WHAT WORKED FOR THEIR FAMILY.

NOT TO MENTION. APHMAU TOOK HER KIDS IN OUT OF THE PURE KINDNESS OF HER HEART AND LOVED THEM TO DEATH!! IT DIDNT MATTER IF THEY WERE LEFT AT HER DOORSTEP, OR A GHOST THAT COULD LITERALLY SHOW PEOPLE THEIR WORST FEARS, OR FOUND IN A CAVE OF WYVERNS AFTER A BOAT CRASH. EVEN WHEN SHE WAS PREOCCUPIED, SHE ALWAYS HAD PEOPLE MAKING SURE THEY WERE LOVED.

SHE WAS A FULL TIME LORD, OBVIOUSLY SHE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO BE WITH THEM 24/7, AND THEY COULDNT COME WITH HER BECAUSE SHE WAS DOING DANGEROUS WORK.

LEAVE MY GIRL ALONE! SHE LOVED HER KIDS SO MUCH AND MADE SURE THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF EVEN WHEN SHE COULDNT CARE FOR HERSELF.

The Malachi and Levin vs Alina and Lilith age gap is so funny

Like speaking as someone with a sibling that’s like a decade and a half younger, they must have the funniest relationship.

They’re fighting with a toddler over their mom, who came first, who can sit next to mom at dinner

I think levin would have no shame in beefing with an infant. They would make faces at each other, shove each other. Alina would bite him and he would smack her with a pillow

Aphmaus would definitely make them wear the same shirt until they got along
